Northside Elects PTA Leadership

The Northside PTA is now official.  Parents from all 6 feeder schools have already been working hard to make Northside amazing for our kids.

The Northside PTA met on April 24, 2013 and approved an official charter and elected parents to leadership positions. The next meeting is scheduled for May 31, 2013 at 8:00 AM.

Official School Colors and Mascot Announcement

We are pleased to announce (drum roll) our school mascot and colors.

Northside Enters a Garden Grant Competition

Northside Elementary School has entered a community garden grant competition sponsored by Seeds of Change. The grant awards for the competition include one $25,000 grant and fifteen $10,000 grants to be use toward community garden projects.

Help Northside make it through the first round of the competition by going online and voting daily for the Northside Elementary School Garden between now and May 17, 2013. The 50 garden projects that receive the most votes will move to the second round of the competition where applications will be reviewed by a panel of judges.

A Facebook account is required for voting. Each person is allowed to vote once EACH day. Spread the word to friends, family, and colleagues.
