Ms. Athey shares her NASA experience

Ms. Sandy Athey, one of our amazing teachers here at Northside Elementary just returned from watching NASA launch a satellite named TESS, (Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite) that will discover thousands of exoplanets in orbit around the brightest stars in the sky. Imagine being able to watch NASA launch a rocket into space live in person! That's exactly what our own Ms. Sandy Athey will be doing on Monday, April 16.  Ms. Athey is this week's Northside Elementary School's news program's Staff Spotlight. She applied and was accepted as a Social Media Correspondent for their upcoming TESS, Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite. If you would like to share in Ms. Athey's excitement, she's created a Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/groups/228267464585110/ with books, videos, links and other resources to support our students and staff learning.
