Chinese Acrobat Visits Northside

On Tuesday, January 14 second through fifth grade students attended an in-school performance by the Chinese acrobat Li Lui.  During the performance students were wowed by Li Lui skills with demonstrations of plate spinning, hand balancing, and ribbon dancing. During the performance Li Lui selected student volunteers from the audience to try their had at performing basic acrobatic routines.

Li Lui also discussed aspects of the Chinese language with students along with the traditions and celebrations associated with Chinese New Year.
