Northside Elementary receives national attention for its love of READING!

TumbleBookLibrary, a curated database of children's e-books, available by subscription to Elementary Schools and Public Libraries around the world that we use here at Northside Elementary to support literacy recently shared the wildly successful fundraiser we just completed.  Here is a portion of the post shared with their worldwide audience,

"When the students at Northside Elementary of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro School District in North Carolina set their mind on reading... Well, you ‎had best not get in their way!
Northside's awesome students logged 532,254 minutes and read a total of 13,420 books during the school's TumbleBooks Read-A-Thon earlier this month. Their dedication and love of reading helped raise over $16,000 for their school!
This was, by far, the best showing of any school who had participated in a Tumblebooks Read-a-Thon and sets the bar really high for any school up to the challenge."

Way to go, Navigators!
